What personal data we collect and why we collect it

This privacy policy covers our treatment of information gathered when you are using or accessing our services.

This website collects the following:

  • personal data, such as name, email address, personal account preferences
  • transactional data , such as purchase information
  • technical data , such as information about cookies

Contact forms

Information collected through the contact form is used to answer your questions. The contact form will collect the following information:

  • First Name & Last Name
  • Email Address
  • Phone Number


If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Advertisers and Ad Networks

Our ad partners and ad networks may use cookies and related technologies to collect information when ads are delivered to you on our Services, but Vigilante does not link to or provide them with your actual Vigilante account details. This means that Vigilante does not share your individual account browsing habits with advertisers. Vigilante cannot see advertisers’ cookies and advertisers will not see Vigilante cookies.

Analytics Partners

We use analytics partners (such as Google Analytics) to help analyze usage and traffic for our Services. As an example, we may use analytics partners to analyze and measure, in the aggregate, the number of unique visitors to our Services.

E-Mail Communications

You may receive both non-promotional as promotional email communication from Vigilante. Promotional e-mails are special pricing for subscriptions that Vigilante sells online. Non promotional e-mails are communication between you and Vigilante which includes e-mails about your current subscriptions for example.

You can opt out of promotional e-mails at any time, using the unsubscribe button at the bottom of any of the promotional emails.

Retention period of your data

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see or edit their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Client data will be held for two years, until the last subscription date. Furthermore, to adhere to Curacaoan tax law sent invoice must remain in storage for a minimum of 10 years.

Delete your data

You may delete your account information at any time. You can submit a request for deletion by emailing us at [email protected]. When your account is deleted neither your profile or your data will be visible to neither you or vigilante. In case you have an active membership, this membership will be nullified and you will not receive any restitution for the active membership.

If a request for deletion has been requested, Vigilante will ask for further information in order to verify you are the owner of the account. Vigilante will either call the phone number registered or send a verification email to the registered email.

Additional information

We do not share, sell, or give away your personal information to third parties unless one of the following circumstances applies:

  • With our partners. We may share information with vendors, consultants, and other service providers (but not with advertisers and ad partners) who need access to such information to carry out work for us. The partner’s use of personal data will be subject to appropriate confidentiality and security measures.
  • To comply with the law. We may share information in response to a request for information if we believe disclosure is in accordance with, or required by, any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request, including, but not limited to, meeting national security or law enforcement requirements. To the extent the law allows it, we will attempt to provide you with prior notice before disclosing your information in response to such a request.
